invisible cords

We’re all so connected
through invisible cords
A slave to our vices
the devices we hoard

A lunch with a friend who isn’t actually there
the friends who have joined you
Have joined you
In Stare

We’re constantly seeking recognition in form of click or press

we use a decent filter to hide all of our mess
We miss moments we capture through the screens on our phones
Take time to live life
we don’t need to be drones
