When we are one I’m phosphorescent,
the reactor inside me ascends scales of intensity,
overwhelmed and uncontrollable,
exposed and unbridled.
Upsurges of passion and power and peace,
elation of fitting that last jigsaw piece,
time unravels and manoeuvres off axis.
With such largesse I can’t help but dose the water and air,
nectarous bites gently bloom, soaking syrupy smiles, eyes
parade euphoria in every blink.
I smoulder in amorous ashes.
